iLuvBBall / Future Long Island TOP 80 Basketball Camp Recap!

On Thursday, December 26 iLuvBBall partnered with one of the leading players showcase organizations on Long Island Future All-Long Island Basketball to produce the first Annual Top 80 Middle School Basketball Camp.
The rest was history in the making…
The reason for this event was to bring awareness to some of the top talents we have to showcase in our area as well as provide a measuring bar for the other striving basketball players as to where they stand amongst some of the top talents. This event consisted of college-level fitness, dribbling, and shooting drills as well as mini-pickup games followed by an Elite Top 20 game which consisted of all the top campers throughout the event. WE also had a parent’s Q&A session with event founder Coach Kareem of Suffolk Community College and Long Island Boys2Men AAU program and Rodini Almonacy of iLuvBBall.com.
The grand prize for this event besides the unique experience and great day of basketball was a pair sneakers and backpacks for the top 3 campers provided by the Sneaker Terminal located on 172 Jackson St, Hempstead, NY 11550.
The remaining 17 campers received write-ups on iLuvBBall.com.
The camp was very successful and parents and players alike loved the outcome of the event. The toughest part for the coaches and staff was deciding on who the Top 3 campers were because there definitely was a lot of talent in the building. There were various players that exhibited multiple skill sets and were elite in their own right, so to make this fair we had to make a few Co-MVPs in a few divisions.
