Long Island’s own, Kevin Spann, of Spann Inc., is hosting an NCAA Certified Unsigned HS Senior Combine on Saturday, April 23rd at Long Island Fieldhouse.
FOR BOYS GRADES 9-12
Kevin looked at all the recruiting challenges facing the Class of 2022 and came up with a viable solution – an NCAA Certified Combine so players can be seen and evaluated by Division 1 coaches. No one understands every aspect of the academic and athletic recruiting process better.
He played Division 1 college ball at St. Peter’s University from 2005-07 with the nation’s leading scorer Keydren Clark. From 2007- 09, Kevin played for legendary Head Coach Tim Cluess finishing his college playing career at Long Island University (C.W Post campus). As a career 1,000 point scorer, Kevin was captain of one of the most accomplished teams in Long Island College Basketball history, winning two ECC Championships and an NCAA regional championship as the No. 2 team in the country.
He was also one of the youngest head coaches in the country when he coached locally at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue from 2014-19. The program produced a championship appearance, four 1,000 point career scorers, and six all-conference selections.
