Still makings it happen. This kid is working hard and is hell bent on making his mark on the basketball landscape. Class of 2019 guard Rhyjon Blackwell is starting off on a good foot. We’re keeping tabs on this guy and he’s not playing.

Then there’s this video where she shows off his whole repertoire of offensive arsenal. 5 tre’s,drives to the rack, steal, dishes and flat out runs the offense.

Check out this writeup from Funsport over the summer when he played with the Juice All-Stars.

Rhyjon Blackwell @chefboyrhy Baldwin Middle School 8th Grader – NY Lightning Rhyjon attends baldwin middle school..he is in honor classes for math and science..he also loves football.. he played corner back..and nickel for the middle school.. Like his dad (Kory Blackwell), who played for NY Giants, Rhy also plays receiver. He loves to swim and his favorite dish is bake ziti… As for schools he wants to follow in his dad footsteps and attend UMASS and as for players he likes Deion Sanders and Stephen Curry… From the parents… “We love Funsport… I wish I knew about Funsport for my older son. This program teaches the kids to be students first then athletes. I truly enjoy myself when I come to the games beside some rude parents at times. You guys teach the kids to be positive and respectful and to have great sportsmanship. The idea of The Glow is an excellent reinforcement for children. Teaches them hard work pays off. Rhyjon really enjoys playing at Funsport and he feels like it’s an introduction to college then possibly the pros. He likes the setting style of the game, the music, the shoutouts… When you step into Funsport…you know it’s Game Time” #LetsGLOW #FunsportNYC #FunsportBasketball #TheGLOW #Glow #Glowing #GetThatGLOW #NYLightning #UANext #UnderArmour
