The program will provide Rigor, Relationship and Relevance through the art of sports. Our goal is to teach young athletes respect for themselves, their peers and their community by instilling a code of ethics built on honesty, responsibility and team work.
The mission of the Warriors Basketball Club is to develop, nurture, and prepare the youth of Comsewogue and its neighboring communities for the next level of basketball; to teach accountability, honesty, integrity, responsibility, sportsmanship; to build character, camaraderie, discipline, respect, trust; to help each individual realize his/her full potential for the benefit of the team; to challenge each player to continually become better each and every day – to be better today than s/he was yesterday.
This is the first annual Team NYC Live Period Tune Up Showcase Event. This event is a series of 4 weekends in March that consist of 4 age divisions. 3 games guaranteed and up to 5 games.
Elementary School – (Ages: 10U and 12U $225 + Ref Fees $30/game) 2 – 14 min. halves running time stop clock in last 2 minutes of halves.
10U – players cannot turn 11 before September 1st, 2018
12U – players cannot turn 13 before September 1st, 2018
Middle School – (Ages: 7th & 8th grade $250 + Ref Fees $35/game) 2 – 16 min. halves running time stop clock in last 2 minutes of halves.
Middle School Division – Players must be in 7th or 8th grade before September 2018 (Coaches should have players birth certificates and latest report cards in case of protest)
High School – (Ages: 9th-12th grade $275 + Ref Fees $40/game) 2 – 20 min. halves running time stop clock in last 2 minutes of halves.
High School Division – Players must be in 9th or 10th grade before September 2018(Coaches should have players birth certificates and latest report cards in case of protest)
The organizer of this event Donald Francois founder of Gimme Five Worldwide and assistant coach at Archbishop Molloy High School in Queens reached out to us after attending our #iDtop4 2017 Event and said “what if we did a similar event right before the first basketball Live period in March to kick of the Spring basketball season and give these teams and players a little Tune-Up to prepare for their Spring showcase events?” and for the younger divisions, to get them on the radar of their high school coaches and build player profiles on the web for their future recruiting.
