For all these coaches out there talking about they’re in it for the kids, lets see of you put you money where your mouth is. This event holds the kids on your team accountable for themselves. It’ s measuring stick to find out where they stand against their peers and what they have to work on. Most importantly it gives each and every one of them exposure (or gets them EXPOSED). The event is taped and posted on the College coaches section of iLuvBBall for All Prep school and college coaches to see. Check out this video.

For the fifth summer, the Brooklyn Nets will host the Brooklyn Nets Basketball Academy Camp powered by DRIBBL at Southampton Town Recreation Center for children pre-K to eigth grade. Throughout the week, participants will learn basketball fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal develop­ment rooted in the concepts of Brooklyn Nets basketball. Sessions will maintain a structured and safe player-to-coach ratio to ensure maximum instruction.

Top Gun Division Winner to Receive $2,500 cash prize

 

LONG ISLAND (July 23, 2018) – The Long Island Nets will be hosting their inaugural Hoop Fest, a 3×3 Tournament which invites players of all calibers to compete for prizes on August 25 and 26 at NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

 

Teams can consist of up to three players and one substitute at a minimum age of eight. The registration fee for the event is $160.00 per team ($40 per person) and the deadline to register is August 17, 2018. All registered players will receive a Long Island Nets Hoop Fest 3×3 Tournament T-Shirt and will play in a minimum of three games. Each participant will receive a voucher for four complimentary tickets to any Long Island Nets game in November or December 2018.

 

The winner and runner-up of each division will receive an award. Additionally, winners of all other divisions will receive a Long Island Nets courtside experience during the 2018-19 season and the winner of the Top Gun division will also receive a cash prize of $2,500.

 

The day prior to the event, Friday, August 24, a team representative must check-in at the Geico Main Entrance of NYCB LIVE, between 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., to pick up participant T-Shirts and team schedules.

 

For those not participating in the tournament, there will also be fun for all ages featuring a buy, sell and trade Sneaker Show, inflatables, backyard games, and a DJ. There will also be local food options and a meet and greet with the Long Island Nets’ new fan-designed mascot.
