Brentwood’s Bryce Harris Class of ’20 drops the hammer on Elmont!

Remember we told you about this kid here first @realiluvBBall as a player2watch. While many seniors are not averaging Double Double’s this sophomore is doing it for 4 straight games (10 counting Fall league). That’s every game Brentwood has had this season. Harris is Brentwood’s Athletic wing player who does it on both ends of the court. 16 points 18 Rebounds 5 Blocks 3 Assist and 3 Steals in his last showing. Brentwood’s Head Coach, Anthony Jimenez  says “ I think a lot of people are going to take notice of who he is”. You can’t ignore him because he’s a beast!

RHYJON BLACKWELL – THE BRUIN’S SHINNING STAR – highlights

Still makings it happen. This kid is working hard and is hell bent on making his mark on the basketball landscape. Class of 2019 guard Rhyjon Blackwell is starting off on a good foot. We’re keeping tabs on this guy and he’s not playing.

Then there’s this video where she shows off his whole repertoire of offensive arsenal. 5 tre’s,drives to the rack, steal, dishes and flat out runs the offense.

Check out this writeup from Funsport over the summer when he played with the Juice All-Stars.

Rhyjon Blackwell @chefboyrhy Baldwin Middle School 8th Grader – NY Lightning Rhyjon attends baldwin middle school..he is in honor classes for math and science..he also loves football.. he played corner back..and nickel for the middle school.. Like his dad (Kory Blackwell), who played for NY Giants, Rhy also plays receiver. He loves to swim and his favorite dish is bake ziti… As for schools he wants to follow in his dad footsteps and attend UMASS and as for players he likes Deion Sanders and Stephen Curry… From the parents… “We love Funsport… I wish I knew about Funsport for my older son. This program teaches the kids to be students first then athletes. I truly enjoy myself when I come to the games beside some rude parents at times. You guys teach the kids to be positive and respectful and to have great sportsmanship. The idea of The Glow is an excellent reinforcement for children. Teaches them hard work pays off. Rhyjon really enjoys playing at Funsport and he feels like it’s an introduction to college then possibly the pros. He likes the setting style of the game, the music, the shoutouts… When you step into Funsport…you know it’s Game Time” #LetsGLOW #FunsportNYC #FunsportBasketball #TheGLOW #Glow #Glowing #GetThatGLOW #NYLightning #UANext #UnderArmour

Amityville’s Class of 2018 Jayson Robinson w/ the monster putback Dunk!

#iLuvBBallPlayer2Watch Jayson Robinson has been on a the scene for a minute now. But you all may already know NY is the land of the guards (Hell, everywhere is). So what are you going to do to stand out? Jason started his student-athlete  high school career at Long Island Lutheran (LuHi) for 2 years. He then transferred to Queens’ storied Basketball school Cardoza under the tutelage of the hall of Fame Coach Ron Necalrio, he then decided to come back home to finish his High school career at his home town Amityville high School with Coach Gordon Thomas (founder of the Alzheimer’s All-Star Basketball Classic).

Jason is a high IQ athletic point Guard. If I was to rate his jumpsuit from 1-10 I’d give him a 7-8 (depending on his shooting day). His strong point is his mid-range jumper.

He’s a regular at Jerry Powell’s Basketball Results so you know his ball handling ability is exceptional. He’s has more bounce than a rubber ball and is fast. He’s nicknamed Jason “the Jet” Robinson.

Check out the schools showing interest so far:

Molloy College, Brooklyn College, Hilbert College, Sage College, John Jay College, Hunter College, Wilson College, Mt.Saint Mary College, Spring Field College, East Stroudsburg University, Canterbury School, Proctor Academy

These are but some of the schools showing interest in Mr. Robinson, and I’m sure that after this clip a lot more will be calling. Check out a clip in his home opener where he gives a kid a helmet on a put-back dunk.
